Introduction
This document outlines the Modern Slavery Policy of AccidentAtWorkClaimUK.org.uk, (a brand owned by JF Law Limited, a firm of solicitors situated at Champions Business Park, Arrowe Brook Road, Birkenhead, Wirral CH49 0AB, also known as “the Firm.”) We are duly authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), holding the Firm Reference Number: 839005.

Organisational Structure
The governance of the Firm is the responsibility of its board of directors, with its operational team based in the North West of England.
Terminology
Within this policy, the term ‘modern slavery’ is used to describe human trafficking, forced labour, and the manipulation of workers through mistreatment, degradation, and confinement.
Dedication
The Firm recognises its duty in the fight against modern slavery and is committed to adhering to the Modern Slavery Act 2015. This dedication is manifested through continuous scrutiny and enhancement of our internal and supply chain practices.
We strictly avoid any association with entities, both within the UK and internationally, that are involved in or support slavery, servitude, or compulsory labour. Furthermore, we ensure that our employment practices are in full compliance with UK labour laws.
Supply Chain Management
Our primary supply chain activities are centred around the delivery of legal services, supported by our physical offices in Merseyside (including Liverpool and Wirral) and provisions for remote working.
Risk Assessment
The greatest risk of slavery and human trafficking is perceived to be within the lower-paid roles of our office structure. Despite this being a limited risk, we are committed to taking stringent actions to prevent such practices within our Firm and among our suppliers.
Influence of Global Events
The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic did not increase our risk profile regarding modern slavery. The Firm maintained stable supplier relationships and quickly transitioned to remote working protocols, ensuring our employees had access to grievance mechanisms and received uninterrupted pay during periods of isolation.
Proactive Measures
We engage in thorough due diligence to eliminate slavery from our business and supply chains. Future initiatives may encompass reviews of supplier contracts, risk assessments, evaluations of impact, formulation of action plans, and providing our staff with training on modern slavery.

To gauge our success in combating modern slavery, we set and regularly review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
